Jack began working as a Glass Artist in his home state of Pennsylvania in 1967. He is self taught. Since the 1980's his original designs have been shown by many galleries and museums and have won numerous awards. In 1982 he relocated to Tarpon Springs Florida where he operated Fusion Fine Crafts Gallery. During that period he also created mixed metal jewelry which eventually led to his current style of stained glass. His work combines his metalworking skills with his glass designs and using many nontraditional techniques he creates a unique style of Glass/Metal Art that is easily identified as his own.
In 1990 in order to bring his work to a broader audience he created Lighstreams, smaller pieces that he thinks of as large pieces of jewelry, not for personal adornment but to bring bright spots of color and joy to your home.
Since 2007 his studio and residence have been located in the Hill Country south of Austin Texas.
